"Works usually start with laying gesso on the canvas for texture and a vague feeling of the space I want to convey.  Next, fluid layers of acrylic ink are poured over - dripping, soaking and moving into place.   Then comes a little definition,  mark making using various tools, until the elements appear... Will it be water, earth or sky?    Then the details come along, the twigs, the glimmers of sunlight, the paw prints.  Lost and found.  It's a balance of fluidity and control."
